350.org is going big. So big you can see it from outer space. In an effort to garner the attention of our deaf and blind—though sadly not mute—leaders, the organisation has initiated Earth.350, a global-warming-themed art exhibition.

350 stands for 350 parts per million (of CO2), which is considered to be a desirable “safe zone”. Since we’re sitting at 388 ppm, risking tipping points and irreversible damage, there’s work to be done.
The 9-day event united people from all parts of the world to create and document giant, people-powered works of art.
Whilst our leaders are busy in Cancun—disagreeing, compromising, lobbying and eventually failing to move the world’s environmental policies forward—it seems a whole load of us have already reached a consensus.
