I stumbled upon this interesting initiative which offers courses to aspiring documentary filmmakers who might be keen to put their newly found skills at the service of a deserving not for profit. Students can show up with an idea for a short doc or be matched with an organization needing exposure.

The school is even offering full grants to employees of not for profits who might benefit from acquiring said skills to facilitate their organization’s outreach programs. Cool.
