I’ve been keeping an eye on Annalea Krebs’ latest venture. The Change, which launched in mid May, is not just a website directory of businesses putting green practices in place; it’s also a community trying to illustrate that business can be the catalyst for change.
Aside from business, educational programmes and event listings, the site also features stories about how various businesses turned their values into concrete programmes.
This may be one of the most original aspects of the site and I hope these stories can become even more specific. As an example, the Hip Baby story about Climate Smart just links to their website’s homepage making it difficult to glean the information you’re looking for quickly.
I’ve no doubt that, as time goes on and the site expands to other regions, it will improve and go on to inspire even more businesses to bridge the gap between conviction and commitment.
